Coastline Community Foundation 2008 Recipients Collombatti Hall Reserve Trust
Collombatti Hall Reserve Trust $4,800 Grant to upgrade the toilet facilities for the new hall to be constructed after the old hall was destroyed by fire. Crescent Head Pointers Swimming Club Inc. $5,000 Grant to fund the construction of a sheltered area near the pool to provide shelter from the sun and rain for marshals, volunteers and competitors at events and carnivals. Hat Head Community Dune Care Group $5,000 Grant to the construction of an extension to the group's shed to house its tractor and trailer which need protecting from the elements. Kempsey Little Athletics $5,000 Grant to partly fund the construction of a new long jump pit at Services Club Park in Kempsey which will be used by children of all ages. Kempsey Meals on Wheels $2,740 Grant to fund the purchase of a new Heat Sealer to be used by the group’s volunteers in the preparation of meals for the elderly in the Macleay Valley. Kempsey West Primary School - Support Unit $4,486 Grant to fund the purchase and installation of a T-Swing with a special Equal Access Seat and Heavy Duty Seat to be used by the school’s students. Kempsey Workpool Inc. $2,948 Grant to fund the installation of a disabled ramp and hand rail at the workpool's head quarters in Leith Street Kempsey to allow better access for all it’s visitors. Kinchela Public School Parents and Citizens Association $5,000 Grant to fund the purchase of a SMART Board interactive Whiteboard, Epson Short Throw Projector and USB Speakers to further enhance the learning experience for the school’s students. Macleay District Primary Schools Sports Association $1,200 Grant to fund the purchase of a 3m x 4.5m portable shade marquee for use at small school sports carnivals and events around the Macleay Valley. Macleay Valley Baseball / Softball $5,000 Grant to fund the extension and replacement of some existing walls of the club’s canteen building at the Kemp Street Sporting Fields in West Kempsey. South West Rocks Maritime Precinct Inc. $2,000 Grant to fund the total replacement of the electrical wiring, fittings and switchboard of the No. 1 Boatman's Cottage at South West Rocks. South West Rocks Primary School $5,000 Grant to fund the purchase and installation of carpet flooring for the school’s newly constructed multi purpose building with heavy duty commercially produced carpet. Upper Macleay Landcare Group Inc. $1,225 Grant to fund the purchase of a Water Tester to help educate members and provide ongoing river & creek management in the Macleay Valley. Willawarrin Public Hall Inc. $1,000 Grant to fund the replacement of the hall’s side safety doors and the installation of a new panic exit device to bring this area to meet the halls standards of safety. Girl Guide Association NSW Port Macquarie Support Group $2,000 Grant to fund the purchase of a Shade Marquee to be used by the groups members and volunteers. Port Macquarie Junior Cricket Club $2,390 Grant to fund the purchase of ten 'OZ Trail' Sun Shelters to be used by the club at cricket matches and training days. Surf Life Saving - Mid North Coast Branch $5,000 Grant to fund the purchase of a Yamaha Waverunner and transport trailer to be used by the group's volunteers. Tacking Point Junior Surf Life Saving Club $3,520 Grant to fund the purchase of two Polyethylene Foam Upper Surf Rescue Boards and six Surf Rescue Tubes to be used by the Club's Members. Child Care Services Taree & Districts Inc. $5,000 Grant to fund the purchase and modification of a 7' x 4' box trailer to transport gross motor equipment around the Manning Valley. Manning River Rowing Club $5,000 Grant to fund the upgrade of the ladies amenities at the club house by the river in Taree. Tinonee Memorial School of Arts Inc. $662 Grant to fund the purchase of a new fridge freezer unit to be used for catering events and functions held in the hall. Tuncurry Memorial Hall Trust Grant to fund the supply and installation of a passive panic bar to the hall's front door to bring the hall in line with safety standards. |
